My name is Rob Maower today we continue our discussion about the possibility of Tesla going private.

Tesla finished the day today on Monday up 0.26% to $3.56.41 cents, this compared to to the NASDAQ down 0.25 percent. Just before market open today,

Tesla and Elon Musk came out with a very helpful blog post explaining some of the details

around unanswered questions that we still have around the Tesla privatization

deal. I think the biggest question that this answered is the quote-unquote funding

secured that Elon had tweeted about where that was coming from. In the blog post Elon explained that the Saudi

Arabian Sovereign Wealth Fund has expressed interest in assisting with taking

Tesla private since early 2017. Since that point in time it sounds like the

interest has been consistent with the Saudi Arabian

Fund reaching out to Elon to express that interest multiple times, one of which happened on July 31st,

2018, and coming out of this meeting, which included the Managing Director of the Sovereign Wealth Fund.

Elon in reference to funding privatization said, quote,

I understood from him that no other decision makers were needed and that they were eager to proceed.

I left the July 31st meeting with no question that a deal with the Saudi Sovereign Fund could

be closed and that it was just a matter of getting the process moving.

This is why I referred to funding secured in the August 7th announcement.

All right, so we now have the answer to where this funding is being secured from.

It sounds like the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund has indicated to Elon that they have both the interest and the means to help take Tesla private at

$420 per share.
