In episode thirty-seven of The Running Effect (with Dominic Schlueter), I speak with Ella Donaghu. Ella is one of the most accomplished runners to ever come through Oregon. She was a ten-time state champion, placed second at NXN, and broke the state record in the 3k (running 9:24.86). She then went onto Stanford where she was a seven-time All-American, a PAC-12 champion in the 1500m, and so much more!
In this episode, we go through Ella's incredible career so far from her high school years in Oregon to her most recent season with Stanford. Ella goes in-depth into her career and all the ups and downs she's experienced in the sport. We also discuss if Lebron James can break five minutes in the mile.
