It's Tuesday, November 5th, 2024. Election Day is upon us. Will we hear a dirge or see dancing by the end of today? I have no idea. Next on the AM update.

0:17.0

For much of the day yesterday, it was pretty much the calm before the storm no major news

0:26.8

necessarily to talk about across the world or here at home of course except for the one story

0:32.4

everybody's focused on that is the 2024 election and howdy, this has been probably the most interesting,

0:40.4

interesting election of my lifetime. I remember the first election cycle I remember would have been,

0:46.8

I think we went to a straw poll back in 1999. I would have been six. The first election night

0:52.0

that I remember is 2004. I remember Dan Rather

0:56.2

talking about John Kerry, quote, hanging on by a thin thread in that election. And all of the

1:04.5

elections in between, even the 2016 election, in the totality of what this has been. Think about

1:35.4

whether it's a bullet and would have been a few more bullets had that guy in Florida gotten any

1:40.3

closer to him on his golf course. They've thrown everything at him, and yet it seems

1:45.3

like one by one, their plots are seemingly coming undone. Having said that, though, I don't know

1:51.9

how tonight is going to go. I'm going to lay out my predictions in just a few moments, but until

1:57.7

then, we will talk about a few news items. Look over at the Democrat side of the aisle as well.

2:04.4

You know, you had Joe Biden.

2:05.5

It seemed like Joe and his family were just going to make them pry the presidency out of their cold dead fingers.

2:14.9

He eventually gave in to pressure to step out of the race.
