It's finally over.

You may notice this morning, as I'm recording this, it's about 133 AM.

I'm talking in somewhat of a hushed tone because everybody in the house is asleep, but I wanted to stay up as long as I possibly could because

we were getting closer and closer for hours to finding out some results to last night's

election. And I'm also talking in hushed tones,

because I've got a little bit of a cold going on as well. That's making its way through the

house. But for those of you who went to bed, and this is maybe the first piece of news you'll

consume in the morning, it appears, and it is likely now. It's all but done.

Donald Trump will become the 47th president of the United States. He's on track as of this

recording to sweeping, sweeping the swing states. The United States Senate is somewhere between in control to firmly in control of the

United States. The Republicans, I should say, are firmly in control of the United States Senate.

I'm seeing anywhere from 54 to 56 seats that they'll have. I'm going to have to wait, I think,

a little bit longer to see where the House of Representatives shakes out.

But this was really an astounding night.

And it looked good from the get-go, starting in Florida.

And I'm saying get-go, Florida was not one of the first states, but Florida, I mean, Donald Trump won Miami-Dade County by double digits.

Miami, by double digits.

Both amendments three and four, three would have allowed open-air public use of marijuana.

Amendment four, we talked about this a lot on the AM update.

That would have allowed all forms of baby killing. Both of those went down. Also in South Dakota, a baby killing amendment
