chapter 3, and we're going to begin in verse 13 mark 3 13 and there it says and he Jesus

goeth up into a mountain and called unto him whom he would and they came unto him and he ordained 12 that they should be with him, and that he might send them

forth to preach, and have power to heal sickness, and to cast out devils. And Simon, he surnamed Peter.

here we see the selection of Jesus's 12.

Isn't it interesting that he chose these particular disciples?

I'm always amazed as I think about who Jesus could have chosen.

Some would argue people that he probably should have chosen,

especially in comparison to who he actually did choose.

You know, when the president of the United States gets into office, one of the things we always

watch, if you've been around long enough, you realize it's interesting to see who he chooses

for his cabinet so that his advisors and his team, because the team around the president
