Folks, welcome to something unusual at Manager Tools.

For the next several weeks, four in total, Mike and I will be releasing a podcast from our

effective relationship series, which typically is behind the paywall.

These are long casts in fact the one we are releasing is two hours and forty minutes long if you can

believe that. The show notes run to 18 pages.

Typically a show is only about five pages. They're probably the most densely packed with guidance casts that Mike and Wendy and I have ever recorded.

And basically what they give you is an insight into using DISC to either manager directs or in some cases to relate to your boss.

There are a total of 16 casts in the effective relationship series.

This cast is you're a high D as a manager and your direct is a high C.

So you're a forceful, energetic, take no prisoners kind of boss.

And your direct to oversimplify things, of course,

a little bit is perfectionist, a dot his eyes

or her eyes and cross his or her tease kind of person likes to go slow

likes to have a plan likes to wait wait wait wait wait wait wait

which annoys annoys you.

And there are ways to get highly effective performance out of directs who are different

than you.
