0:24.0	It's surprisingly hard to do that when you know the outcome but they don't, right?
0:29.0	It's really hard to leave that voicemail.
0:31.0	And you'll know that the first time you try to leave that voicemail.
0:34.6	The way you try to leave that voicemail,
0:36.9	knowing that it's bad news, it's hard to do that without that.
0:41.1	This isn't good news coming through in the voicemail.
0:43.4	Right, yeah, they know it.
0:45.3	Yeah, even worse, try exchanging voicemails
0:49.3	back and forth with a candidate who's out of the running
0:51.3	but doesn't know it yet. You're going to hear increasing
0:55.3	anxiety and their messages to you and increasing frustration. And I think I know for me the few times when I did it this way and I left
1:05.6	voicemails to say call me and the person call me back and I was playing phone
1:09.6	tag there was some frustration in my in my end too and that just usually ends poorly.

1:16.8	Now some people are going to think this is cold or callous.
