Some reflection on what I feel holds us back in so many areas life. Why so often do not pursue what we WANT in life because we stay comfortable with what we SHOULD do. I challenge you all to become uncomfortable, for that is only when true change occurs.

Hey, what's going on everybody? Happy Friday to you, but welcome back to another Ever Forward Friday.

Now this message is going to be short and sweet, but it's something that has been weighing on my mind a lot as of late.

And this is due to a lot of my own personal work that I'm currently digging through and trying

to come out on the other side of whether it's by myself whether it's in my journaling or even when

I meet weekly with my own coach yes you heard me right Even the coach has a coach.

It's really important, I think, to find someone, whether it's a paid professional, a coach, a mentor, a friend, a loved one, someone that you know without a shadow of a doubt by talking to them.

You are going to get this objective perspective and be able to see things in a little bit different light. The ability to just gain a slightly different angle, in my opinion,

can go miles in lifestyle, transformation, habit modification, or just getting out of your own damn way sometimes.

And in this process, again, I'm speaking 100% personally, but I do think a lot of this is

relatable to my own clients that I work with as well as I think a lot of you.

Because odds are if you're listening to this podcast if you're listening to me we

connect we're alike in one way or another we have some common ground there's a common denominator

whether it's fitness whether it's relationships whether it's same education professionalism

whatever that may look like we connect in one way or another.

And some of the insight that I've had as of late, once I'm able to reflect upon my own mess and what my coach kind of feeds back to me is that it really comes down to two different areas,

And that is there are these things we know we want to do but don't versus things we should do

and don't.

And the difference I think between should and want is really one word for me,

and that is fear. Fear of the unknown. Fear of failure. Fear of any naysayer or naysayers in our life of laughing at us fear of them being right

and us being wrong fear of just going against the grain. Fear of our own self.
