Hello everybody and welcome to a bonus episode of the Here We Are

Podcast. We're releasing five episodes a month now so I'm calling it a bonus

episode. There's nothing in the future I might.

I've been considering maybe using some bonus

episodes to like try just being experimental and doing

some different things.

But for now, I'm just excited to get more of these out there

This is just the next one in the queue. It's a really fun episode and a big part of this is I am now two years sober. Well, not sober, I do all sorts of mind-altering things.

Not all sorts, but here and there. I'm not opposed to drugs or mind-altering

states in any way but I quit smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol two years ago.

There are two worst drugs on earth as far as I'm concerned.

Some people have very healthy relationships with alcohol.

I did not.

I think most people

most people have a less healthy relationship with alcohol than they real not even most people but but a lot of people I know I was there as well but I mean few people have as unhealthy a relationship as I did it was it was

ridiculous and embarrassing looking back at and just so absurd and troubling and scary to think of all of the I mean I'm really

fortunate that nothing really bad happened all the drunk driving and everything

else that I did and and I just now I'm feeling you know so much better. I could quit drinking

and smoking for a few years two or three years before and everything fell apart with

injury and career stuff and all these things and I turned back to the sauce

hopefully that doesn't happen again I don't know I'm not AA guy. I don't really believe in sobriety or anything, but I do think that cigarettes and alcohol are just, it's funny, the two most normalized things and celebrated, especially alcohol, just how celebrated alcohol is in

our culture is just ridiculous to me.
