So, who have we got on deck for you this week? It's a really good one. I actually really, really enjoyed this conversation. It was funny, it was smart. I learned an awful lot. So I had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Katie Spalding.

You know, Katie is a mathematician,

and I just kind of want to read you her bio because I don't think I could write anything better than

this.

Dr. Katie Spalding spent 10 years studying math, which is about the upper limit on how much

math you can do before people start actively avoiding you at parties.

She received her PhD in 2018, worked at IFL science, and has supplied research for the TV

show, I think it's Chi, QI, I don't even know. I'm so sorry Katie.

And it's Sister Podcast, no such thing as a fish.

Her articles have also appeared in Huffpost and politics means politics among others.

She has a new book, it's her first book and it's brilliant.
