I want to give a content warning for somebody passing away in a pretty traumatic way

because I think everyone was really shocked when this headline came out that the Cosby Show star,

Malcolm Jamal Warner, died in an accidental drowning while on vacation in Costa Rica.

This is so, so tragic.

He was only 54 years old, such a beloved part of the show.

He played Theo Huxstable.

And reports are coming out that he drowned after getting caught in a strong rip current.

Oh, man.

It's absolutely awful.

And apparently when Bill Cosby got the news,

it felt to him, and this is just what sources are saying, like when he got the news that his son

had been murdered back in the 90s, because I guess those two used to be a similar age. He used to play

together. And sources are coming out and saying that Bill had been on the phone with Felicia Rashad

and reminiscing about Malcolm.

And you just got to think like, yes, you're a family on screen.

But when you work together so closely and you're already playing a family, like that

bond, I don't think just goes away.

So when you find that out, it probably feels like somebody that you are related to has

passed.
