People have been wondering, where is the song of the summer?

We don't have one yet.

Last year we had espresso and people were singing it all summer long.

We're going into June and we don't have like a summer banger that I feel like everyone has really attached themselves to.

And Sabrina Carpenter is throwing her hat into the ring with a new song she came out with last night called Manchild.

She said she wrote Manchild on a random Tuesday with Amy and Jack, as in Jack Antonoff of Taylor Swift's producing.

Not too long after finishing short and sweet and it ended up being the best random Tuesday of my life.

So this could end up being the summer banger for 2025.

I feel like there are some songs that are so good in summer bangers that they should be able to get more than one summer.

And Chapel Roan's Hot to Go.

I think you can apply that to any summer and I think it's going to still be the best song.

To me, Hot to Go is so much more than just a summer anthem.

Like it has really embellished itself, I think, as one of those legendary songs. Like, you know, when you go to a cover band bar, like when I was in Nashville,

people were playing Pink Pony Club over and over and over again. And to me, that when cover bands are

playing you multiple times in a weekend, that's how I know you've already secured yourself as a legend.
