teacher, an ecological philosopher who lives in the folds of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

She is the creator and concautress of One Willow apothecaries, an Appalachian-grown

company that offers hand-crafted herbal medicines and online education.

Asia's work, which is a unique combination of herbalism, animism,

Taoist stone medicine, ancestral healing, and earth-centered mysticism is rooted in the belief that

self-compassion is a force of ecological healing.

And her wonderful, amazing, fantastic forthcoming book on nature writing will be available

through North Atlantic books in 2022. I've had the privilege of reading some of

Asia and it is such a beautiful piece of art and I can't wait to share it with
