All right, we're here, by the way,

at the Washington Examiner's political summit in Sea Island,

where there was a lot of talk about the way Democrats are conducting the impeachment investigation,

namely that these interviews have been done in secret and more importantly

transcripts of the interviews have not been released.

Democrats say they will release them at some point when they're ready. But a lot of arguments, a lot of

complaints about how Democrats are conducting this impeachment. And the one thing I wanted to ask you is, if you look at the Constitution,

are Democrats permitted to handle this investigation as they are?

Yes, the Constitution's... to handle this investigation as they are?

Yes, the Constitution simply provides that the sole power of impeachment is vested

in the House of Representatives.

And so it becomes a political and policy question within the House of Representatives
