We like to just get straight into it.

And today our guest is a man named Robert Driscoll.

He is a lawyer here in Washington who just happens to be involved

in two of the more interesting matters in the Trump-Russia affair.

You might have heard of him as the lawyer for Maria Bhutina,

who is now serving a jail term, I believe, for illegally being an unregistered agent of Russia.

But he was also the attorney for a woman named Diana Denman and you may not know that name but

she was absolutely in the middle of the one of the biggest non-stories of the

Trump-Russia affair, which is the GOP platform Bruhaha from 2016.

Let's go through both of these and I think we'll start with the platform.

Diana Denman was a long-time Republican activist from Texas.

She goes to the Republican Convention in Cleveland in 2016 and what happens?

Well, Diana was a long-time Republican or Reagan era type, was an appointees

the Reagan administration, had not been active in kind of the back story is she

been active in Republican circles but hadn't been to a convention in a number of cycles.

And she determined she was invited to go by the Cruz people and she said,
