I do feel like, you know, whenever I go to see, you know,

I listen to Sealy Dan or I see a concert of Steely Dan or I, you know, I don't go to a lot of

concerts. But if you hang out outside, you can basically hear the music. And, you know, every guy

at a Steely Dan concert on some level, you know, looks kind of like me. You know, there's

women there too, but they're the wives of guys that kind of look like me, you know, so they're

patient. You know, these are patient women. I like Steely Dan. I like it's like, it's like a level

above elevator music. You know what I mean? Like, you wouldn's like a level above elevator music you know what i mean like you wouldn't

sit and listen to elevated music you know by yourself but you do appreciate you know the the

tones the light saxophone you know you appreciate it on a general level and it's like it's

almost like you know if you have you're not going to put up

Gernica, you know, the painting Gernica, you know, at a dentist office, you know, it's not the right

time or place for it. You know, it's got too much depth. So in an elevator, you want the little

we're, you know, very light, you know, and then if you want something that's more of a meal, you elevate to Steely Dan.

And Steely Dan, he's got like 10 other guys in the band and they're all going to toot.

They got the brass.

You know, and they sing songs about like guys getting their PhD or women in bars that stink or guys that are bars that stink or guys that are liars or horny guys

or girls. They sing a lot about girls. So really, you know, that's most of the human experience.
