Hey, good morning. It's Patricia Murphy. It's Wednesday. This is Seattle now. If you're

walking or riding on King County trails, expect to find e-bikes in the mix. The new rule permitting e-bikes and scooters

on trails gives commuters some new options. Seattle Times Transportation reporter Nick DeShay

is here to talk about what it means. But first, let's get you caught up. If people in your

household are sick right now with COVID or RSV, researchers might want to talk with you.

The University of Washington, along with Children's Hospital, are studying how infections spread.

To participate, one person in the household needs to have a positive test for either RSV or COVID-19 in the five days before enrollment.

Each participating member will have to take a survey over the phone and complete some

diaries and provide some samples.

But hey, you can be paid $200 if you're chosen.
