mastering today.

And so in our first segment we speak with Scott Kurtz, no stranger to the halls of Wizards of the Coast as cartoonist of

PVP and Table Titans.

And in our second segment, we speak with two more members of the Wizards of the Coast family, Sarah and Jefferson, about their experiences and advice running again. So for our first guest, we speak with Scott Kurtz, Eisner Award-winning

Cartoonist of PVP and Table Titans, who also plays Binwin Bronze Bottom and the acquisitions

Inc live games at the pack shows. So Scott, how did you get into Dungeons and

Dragons? I got into Dungeons and Dragons.

The basic set was brought home by my father.

It was the blue box and I think followed by the red box. But I think he had been playing with his friends he was probably in his 30s at the time and he had shown us the game

He had some characters and we he took us through a couple adventures and then shortly after that I was

visiting my cousin who was three years my senior and he had discovered advanced

Dungeons and Dragons and he was showing me how, instead of just this little floppy book

that comes in the box, you know, there was a thick book,

almost as thick as the whole, my whole game,

there was one book that's just, know for just one of the books and he

had all the hard covers and then I was hooked I mean there was so much

minutia there was so much so it was between my dad and my cousin. It was pretty early easy thing.

And then my friends that I got into table in the 80s when we were teenagers got into tabletop gaming and at the time TSR was kind of we did all the TSR game so

Gamma World Star Frontiers top secret the Marvel game like we did everything films and

vigilantes but we always kept coming back to d and d.
