Okay, so today is the start of another design series.

This time, I'm going to talk about the design of Erza's saga.

So as always, what I'll do is this first batch of podcast will be about Urza Saga,

and then the next batch I do, not immediately, but we'll be about Erza's legacy, and the last batch will be about Urza Saga, and then the next batch I do, not

immediately, but we'll be about Erz's legacy, and the last batch will be about Erz's destiny.

It's all about the Erz's Block.

So, okay, let's talk with Erz's Saga.

So we're talking back this is 1998.

It came on October 12th of 1998.

So probably Erz Sagalock is most famous historically for being broken.

Or I'm sorry, to use a R&D term, barroken.

You need the ba to really get the R&D term in there.

Ba-roken.

Anyway, so let me flash back to the past and I'll explain sort of how this thing got

put together.

Okay, so back in 1998, Magic R&D was five people.

It was myself, Bill Rose, who's now the current VP of R&D, Mike Elliott, William Jockish,

and Henry Stern.
