It hasn't been too long now since my spiritual mentor, Don Howard,

the watchmero who led me through all of my watchuma ceremonies

and many of my ayahuasca ceremonies,

the founder of Spirit Quest Sanctuary,

passed on to the next articulation of his existence.

And when he died, I really made a much deeper commitment myself

to live a life that reflected what he had taught me.

And that's Paralbi and a Toto.

So that's the warrior's heart beats his one heart.

And all of these symbols were encapsulated in the smiling jaguar.

And he brought this symbol from ancient Chavine,

a plant medicine culture, and adopted it as his own.

He always wore a ring with it,

and I'm always going to wear it on my right hand as a tattoo.

So I wanted to come out with the smiling jaguar clothing collection.

It's going to help support Spirit Quest Sanctuary

and his daughter, who's now taken over the head of the mesa

and serving the watchuma.

And of course, Don Robert and Donia Eleana

are still running the ayahuasca program there at Spirit Quest.

But Don Howard always had a sense of style too.

And that's something that him and I both share.
