I'm John B from gangreneation.com. On today's show, we're going to talk about the players on the Jets roster most impacted by what the team did in the 2026 NFL

draft. There are guys like Adinae Mitchell who aren't really winners or losers, but their

role has been defined for the upcoming season based on what the Jets did or did not do. Then there

are the players like Will McDonald, who are looking at substantially reduced roles because

their replacements have been drafted.

And then there are players like Josh Myers who are genuine winners based on what the Jets did over the course of the weekend.

And we'll start by talking about the players who are the winners on the Jets roster.

Now, most of the attention has been focused on the eight players the Jets drafted.

And rightly so, these are guys who are going to

comprise the new foundation of the franchise. But each player the Jets draft or does not draft

impacts players already on the roster. And I think if you look at what the Jets did this weekend,

there are clearly some players who benefited and some players who did not benefit.

I think at the top of the list of players who are draft winners for the Jets is Josh Myers,

who was the starting center in 2025. Now, he was originally signed to provide offensive line

depth. In fact, it was a pretty savvy signing by Aaron Glenn and Darren Mucci during the 2025

offseason because Myers was a guy with starting experience in Green and Darren Mojee during the 2025 off season because

Myers was a guy with starting experience in Green Bay, and he may not have been a great player,

but he was not a disaster. When we're talking offensive line depth, not a disaster is pretty good.
