Pat started out in the fitness world as an athlete who was looking to find any training and

nutritional tool possible to make him the best he could possibly be in sports.

This passion for training knowledge ultimately led him to pursuing a master's degree in science

in strength and conditioning specifically and a PhD in exercise physiology, which I didn't even

know was a real thing until him and I talked about it before this episode. So he's actually worked

as a professor of exercise science at Springfield College and Brooklyn
