Today's guest is an extraordinary leader.

His name is Dr. Nido Kubain.

He's the president of High Point University in North Carolina

who has led that university through some explosive growth through some really challenging years before heading up High Point. He had lots of

success as an entrepreneur and a banking executive and today in addition to his role at High Point he serves on a couple of

really impressive corporate boards including the financial giant BB&T and Lazy Boy.

So Dr. Gubane and I, we recently sat down,

we talked about his remarkable story, emigrating to the US

for the Middle East. We talked about the three things he did to cause his

university to grow 5% during the COVID-19 pandemic, while the average university lost 16% of its enrollment and

we talked about the two other lists other than his to-do list that Dr. Kubain keeps handy every single day.
