It's the basis of empathy is I hear you, I see you, and I value what you're saying,

as opposed to nothing you're saying makes sense. I don't know if you belong

on this team. Now, whatever you're going to get into. And you don't have to do that. You know,

you can just say, I hear you and I'll take it under consideration. And that's all you have to do.

And that's an empathic way of putting things on pause or lowering the temperature in a

difficult meeting. And so it's a finesse in communication that you learn as opposed to just mowing
