She’s a graduate of the Disparities Leadership Program at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. She is an alumna of the University of Pittsburgh where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in psychology, Master’s in public health, and Doctorate in epidemiology with a focus on healthy aging and understanding barriers associated with chronic illness and disability prevention.

After spending over a decade serving as a chronic disease specialist and clinical researcher in traditional healthcare, Dr. Rodgers now has her own practice, Healthy Transformations with Heart, where she combines the very best of Western medicine and science, with the natural, energetic, and spiritual components that cultivate true healing.

Dr. Rodgers’ passion is applying her intuitive holistic approach to put the pieces of her clients’ health puzzles together-to connect the dots and identify the true root causes of why they’re stuck feeling the way they feel, create comprehensive plans and build customized healing regimes to finally free people from their chronic health issues.

Dr. Rodgers’ ultimate goal is to facilitate healing across all levels and dimensions to help heart-centered women experience optimal health in mind, body, and spirit so they feel energized and empowered to lead their most meaningful, powerful lives. Dr. Rodgers believes that you are the only person who has the power to heal yourself.

0:45.5	So tell us a little bit, you know, what was your intentions and desires for becoming a classic
0:52.0	doctor and also epidemiologist, which is quite a specific area.
0:56.0	And then, you know, how did you move into this other arena? Absolutely. So I've known since I was
1:03.1	three years old that I was put here on this planet Earth in this lifetime for one purpose and one
1:08.5	purpose only. And that was to, that is to help and guide others to
1:12.2	heal. So, you know, when I was a kid and growing up, I just thought that meant that,
1:16.2	okay, well, I want to help people heal. That means I must want to be a doctor. So growing up,
1:21.3	I just went on that very straight and narrow path, very traditional and followed that pathway.
1:27.3	But I can tell you, Elle, as I went through that
1:29.9	journey, I went through every level in my education and career and always was a square peg
1:37.3	in a round hole and very much an outside of the box kind of person. But in spite of that,
