0:39.2	particularly with an emphasis on South America and this idea that the Western Hemisphere is
0:44.6	America's quote unquote sphere of influence. Glenn Greenwald is a very storied, august and
0:50.6	venerable journalist. He helped break the Edward Snowden story and of course help to set up
0:56.4	the intercept, a really important outlet, I think, over the 2010s and 2020s. I suppose the point of
1:05.4	our conversation today is going to rest on a very simple question. Is US Empire in decline,
1:10.8	or is it actually yet to ascend to ever
1:14.1	greater heights? I don't know what I think. It kind of depends on the day. And is Donald Trump
1:20.7	a one-off or is he indicative of a geopolitical order that increasingly is coming into view
