In the immediate aftermath of the events of October 7th, it was almost as if the British media had a line about what needed to be said, about what had to happen next. It was almost as if things were being coordinated.

There was a similar feeling when it came to the political class too.

Descent was not allowed, simply asking questions about the facts, which after all was integral

to the function of journalism, was seen as something beyond the pale.

In the months and years that followed, Britain hasn't just observed with indifference events

in Gaza.

It is actively participated, supporting an Israeli state, which is responsible in the eyes of many

for genocide.

That involvement, that complicity is documented in a very important new book by Peter Iborn.

Peter has decades of experience in Britain's media.

He was, among other things, the political editor of The Spectator.
