The controversy is over H-1B visas that allow foreigners with

highly coveted tech skills to work in the U.S. for up to six years. H-1B visas? That's not what it's about.

It's about taking American jobs and bringing over essential to become indentured servants at lower wages.

The controversy has been dividing Republicans for days.

Some of Trump's closest advisors, including

billionaire Elon Musk, have been defending the program, along with others in the tech industry,

which relies heavily on those workers. Some Republicans skeptical of the program.

I think the abuses of the H-1B program have been evident. Trump appearing to agree with Musk this summer.
