They say life is short.

Well, my family has many old relatives. In fact, I was able to know my great-grandfather

for most of my childhood. He was my mother's grandfather. Back when I was eight, the whole family went over to his house to visit.

He was up there in age, so any time spent was precious. It was also great to see my aunt, uncle, cousins, and grandparents all at the same time.

My great-grandfather had a caregiver.

She helped him come out of his room to visit with all of us. And although he was very old, he could still interact with us. Well, with as much strength as he could. He also needed to go to sleep early. So when it was time for that we all went out to eat. The last people to leave

my great-grandfather's house were my aunt, uncle, and cousins. Technically, my oldest cousin, James, was the last one to say goodbye to my great

grandfather. After eating together and having a few more laughs and such we all went

back to our homes. That night my great-grandfather ended up passing away at 2.30 a.m.

It wasn't expected, but it's always sad.

At the funeral, James told me that he witnessed something strange that night, but not at our great-grandfather's house.

At his, he woke up to a feeling of being watched.

As he looked around his room in the corner he saw a shadow man watching him.

When the shadow man noticed James looking at him, the shadow man walked towards the bedroom door and phased through it.

James looked at the time. it was 2 a.m.

He grabbed his bag and went to the living room.

His little sister, Carla, was also out there.

James asked why she was out there.

Carla responded that there was some shadow man in her room.

When she looked at the shadow man, it left.

They decided to both sweep the house.
