Life is a journey, and the fourth section of the Psalms, known as the Numbers' Psalms, show us the goodness and guidance of God along that journey.

If we want to move forward, we must look up. Let's join Scott Pauli now as we open the Word of God and find direction for the road of life.

Don't forget to remember. Oh, how forgetful we are of the goodness of our God.

Psalm 103 is our study today, and Psalm 103 is a Psalm of remembrance and the praise that should grow out of it.

David writes, bless the Lord, oh, my soul. And all that is

within me, bless His holy name, bless the Lord, oh my soul, and forget not all his benefits.

I say again, don't forget to remember. Go back and rehearse, remember, reiterate all of the goodness of God in your life.

And did you notice how the Psalm begins?

Bless the Lord.

Then it says, bless His Holy Name.

Then it says it again, bless the Lord.

May I ask you, are you a blessing to God?

People say sometimes, I didn't get anything out of the sermon today.

The question really is not did you get something out of a meeting, but did you give anything to it?

All right, let's apply that to your personal life.

Someone says, well, I don't know what good thing I got today.

Wait a minute. If you're breathing,

God's been good to you. If you're alive and you're a Christian, God's shown his mercy to you.

But let's reverse the thing. What have you given back to the Lord today? Isn't it selfish that we always

ask God to bless us and we think so little about us blessing him. I ask you again, have you been a blessing to

the Lord recently? Well, how do we bless the Lord? And for what do we bless the Lord? Psalm 103 gives us a list.
