Life is a journey, and the fourth section of the Psalms, known as the Numbers' Psalms, show us the goodness and guidance of God along that journey.

We're going bird watching today in Psalm 102.

What an amazing psalm it is.

And it's a rather lengthy psalm, 28 verses long.

We can't study at all. But I want to bring you to one portion of it that i think is really the heart and soul of the psalm psalm 102 has a little inscription

over it a title that says this a prayer of the afflicted when he's overwhelmed and pourth out his complaint before the Lord.

Psalm 102 is the prayer of an afflicted man.

Who was that? David, perhaps.

Was it when he was chased by Saul?

Was it at Zichlag?

Or when Absalom rebelled?

Was it when his baby died?

Could have been any day.
