0:44.8	You know you're getting old when you enjoy just sitting around watching the birds.

0:52.2	One of my favorite authors, Vance Havner, was famous for bird watching.
0:57.5	He could walk through the woods and hear just the sound of a bird,
1:00.3	tell you exactly what it was.
1:02.6	We're going bird watching today in Psalm 102.
1:05.8	What an amazing psalm it is.
1:07.5	And it's a rather lengthy psalm, 28 verses long.
1:13.7	We can't study at all. But I want to bring you to one portion of it that i think is really the heart and soul of the psalm psalm 102 has a little inscription
1:20.5	over it a title that says this a prayer of the afflicted when he's overwhelmed and pourth out his complaint before the Lord.
1:29.9	Psalm 102 is the prayer of an afflicted man.
1:32.8	Who was that? David, perhaps.
1:35.6	Was it when he was chased by Saul?
1:37.9	Was it at Zichlag?
1:39.3	Or when Absalom rebelled?
1:40.8	Was it when his baby died?
1:42.2	Could have been any day.
