superfan Mr. Dominic Grossman. This being Hard Rock week, we thought it would be fun to do a deep dive

on this fantastic event to set the context for the weekend more than just a race preview. We dubbed this

episode a love letter to Hard Rock.

It was our intention to share some of our memories and some of our knowledge of the race

to help future Hard Rockers approach this event armed with a little bit more information

and also to help general trail running fans to get a higher definition

picture of what makes hard rock hard rock i hope this could be an evergreen episode that will

remain relevant before hard rock in coming years minus the specific comments that we make about this

the 2023 edition.

We go deep on the course in the counterclockwise direction, highlighting all of our

favorite and least favorite stretches.

We have a couple of pearls of wisdom from Jeff Browning.

We talk briefly about this year's field, course, and weather conditions.

And then we close the show with

our good friend, Mr. Ryan Throar, who presents a bunch of listener questions about Hard Rock that
