Stephen A Smith says he's finding it hard to support Will Smith in his new film Bad Boys Ride or Die after the Chris Rock Slop.

Now this was a couple of years ago at the Oscars.

I mean not too long ago but some time has passed and will has since apologized and Chris Rock was paid very well to touch

on it during his special selective outrage and it seems like everyone is kind of moved past it.

Stephen A Smith says that he owes the black community an apology.

Black folks have loved and apology. Black folks have loved and revered this man for decades.

He was the closest thing to perfection

as his friend Charlie Mack once told me for decades.

Everybody makes a mistake.

This is not hatred.

I love Will Smith still.

But you gotta have a conversation as to why you did that and when you're apologizing and when you get an emotional and when you're thinking about all the lives or the people that you've affected, it's primarily us as black people who have loved and

supported you and watched you go on a national

on an international stage and slap one of us in the face. Do you feel like he still owes an apology? I see where Stephen A is coming

from because I do think that the allure of Will Smith has been tainted a bit but to say that he

owes us an apology I don't necessarily agree with that I think if anything he owes Chris Rock a conversation I don't think he owes us much of anything and I think the people have responded to that if I was Chris Rock though though, it would be hard to watch how everybody just kind of,

all right, it's over, it's old news, let's move past it, but only if I was him. I really genuinely

just believe that the people feel as if Will Smith has done enough, he's talented enough to have made genuinely just 56 million dollars over the weekend bad boys four so he seems to be back in the game and

certainly didn't get canceled yeah I'm trying to remember like how all that played out
