Today's 10-minute walk is helping you stay fitness consistent.

So let's go for a walk.

Ava and I walk every night after dinner.

We generally have a set route.

Occasionally will vary the route a little bit, but our after dinnerdinner walk tends to be the same route night after night.

And one of the components of this route is we walk through a neighborhood that is adjacent to our

neighborhood. And oftentimes there will be people in that neighborhood who are out doing something.

Maybe they're washing their car, doing some gardening, or standing there talking with neighbors.

And we say hi as we're walking through, and we walk through most nights.

At some point, someone in that neighborhood is going to stop us and say, hey, we're having a cookout at Bob and Linda's house on Friday. You want to come? By the way, I'm,

they introduce themselves. We introduce ourselves and we say, sure, sure we'll come. I just assume

because we walk through that neighborhood every day. People see us. They assume that we live there, and that at some point we will be invited

to a neighborhood cookout. I was really disappointed. The other night, as we were walking through the neighborhood,

we're hearing voices. Lots of voices. And as we get closer to this one house, we notice that there's a big

cookout happening in the backyard. Lots of people in the backyard. Were we invited? No.

One of the biggest excuses that is used by people, and I've used it, so I'm part of this large group of folks who have used this excuse when it comes to exercise, and that is no time.
