Hi, welcome back to the Personality Hacker Podcast. My name is Joe Mark Witt.

And I'm Antonia Dodge. In the last podcast, we touched on this concept that nothing happens by cause and effect.

Everything is the emergent of a system.

And we related it to trying to determine how much control you have in your life and in your world.

And if things are emergence or results of entire systems running,

then how do we have any control

if a bunch of those components of those systems

are outside of our influence?

And what we determined in that podcast is that when we have influence

over assessed elements in our lives, we usually have more control than we realize. And when we

don't have control, we usually have less control than we realize.

Like when we can't influence a system, we oftentimes get the most frustrated and we sort of beat

our heads against the wall because we want to have control

when we're not understanding the things that we actually do have control over.

So our recommendation was to get really good at understanding how systems work,

get really good at removing how systems work. Get really good at removing ourselves
