0:46.4 | These are things that we have to develop over time, their skills, not necessarily natural talents. |
0:54.0 | So we come to the world with a talent for love, but to have good relationships, we have to build |

1:01.2 | And I think that a lot of people, if they don't get something the first time or if something is difficult or challenging |
1:08.9 | unless as a kid we were taught to push through that initial phase unless we were taught to keep going in the face of it being a challenge for us. |
1:18.0 | We oftentimes just give up and that in and of itself is a skill, pushing through, not giving up, allowing ourselves to keep going in the face of disappointment or frustration, and continuing to build skills even when that's a difficult thing to do. |

1:35.8 | Well, in this podcast we want to talk about gratitude and how gratitude is a skill that we develop. |

2:07.0 | If we don't have gratitude when something crappy happens to us, we may be so focused on the bad thing that happened in the result in our life that we completely miss the message or the lesson to be taken from that situation and when we miss it then we can't avoid replicating |
