Ronnie is the assistant professor of Systematic Theology at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

I find myself sending links to your episodes to church members all the time. So really appreciate

you three in the work you're

doing. Oh, man, that's very kind. Thanks for jumping on. Ronnie and I have discovered independent

of any Bible, doctrine, seminary, but just in conversation that we grew up sharing very similar

musical tests. And Ronnie and I have very similar, which is a fairly niche, fairly niche musical taste.

I don't know many seminary professors that are as well acquainted with the punk rock scene as

Ronnie Kurtz is. But every time, every time I'm talking with Ronnie, I feel this temptation of

like, I know we're supposed to be talking about doctrine, but we really should talk about whether or not minor threat are ever going to tour again. Hey, that's a question I could talk about for a long time. Man, the Lord used that music scene to save me. So I'm so thankful for that background. Wow. That's a whole other episode, but I can't tell you. and I'm sure you've heard this too, Ronnie. How many people I've heard talk that have come out of the scene,

uh, That's a whole other episode, but I can't tell you, and I'm sure you've heard this too, Ronnie, how many people I've heard talk that have come out of the scene that somehow or another got

connected in a DIY punk scene and then ended up in church or clergy or academic settings.

It is a weird Venn diagram.
