I wanted to do today's podcast closer to the release date because I feel like things are happening,

so many horrible things are happening, and it feels weird to be like doing a podcast

and then like a billion kids get shot up and you're like, anyways, I didn't have a Phillips head to put together a swing!

Like, you're trying to always be mindful of the tone of the nation while doing an ever-one show.

Yeah, evergreen and also not like a topical... not politicalness, like an escape, but also not ignorant.

But also like, what's going on affects my mood and tone, and I don't know.

I think people also want to be a little comforted versus like, we're leaving it all at the door,

and it's like, well, this is permeated, our borders and our homes.
