Summary

Do you trust that God the Father will provide for you? The Gospel for the First Sunday of Lent is about Jesus being tempted in the desert. 0:49.4	It's the story of Jesus being led by the Spirit out into the wilderness for 40 days where
0:53.4	He's praying and fasting, and He's tempted by the devil.
0:57.7	I want you to hear this story with new ears.
1:00.8	I want you to see this story with new eyes this year, because I want you to see that
1:05.0	this story is all about trusting the Father.
1:08.6	In fact, this is what the devil is going after.
1:11.0	He's trying to break the Son's trust of the Father.
1:15.4	He's trying to tempt Jesus to break His trust, His confidence in the Father.
