No mystery's there. That's good news all day long. But I can tell you that 69,000 bounce-back loans were approved during the first 24 hours of that scheme.

Twelve months, you'll remember remember with no requirement to repay or indeed to pay interest and then a very preferential rate

of interest at the end of that period. That's a grand total in excess of two billion pounds.

So more reason, perhaps to cast Rishi Sunak as by far the best performer of this entire period, although we will move on at 11 o'clock to this very unfortunate use of the word addiction in the briefings on the subject of winding down some of the furlough scheme.

I really don't like that.

That's got a slightly old flavour, hasn't it, of blaming people for the situation in which they find themselves?

I nearly made an inappropriate joke about unexpected arrivals. But last week, of course, the expected participation of the Prime Minister,

you remember him, Boris Johnson, blonde hair, big fella, spent a ton of money on a bridge that never got built.

The expected and indeed briefly scheduled

appearance of the Prime Minister was quite understandably derailed by the arrival of his latest baby.

Today I'm fairly confident he's going to turn up, which means I think that it will be the first

time that Kirstama and Boris Johnson have met at the dispatch box.

So a slightly historic moment, even without the context of COVID-19.
