0:30.0	Hey, thanks for joining us on the Daily Drive today. Hope you had a great weekend, and I'm excited to kick this
0:35.3	week off diving into God's Word together. My name is Bro, by the way, and we're going to jump into a book called The Book of Acts for an extended time.
0:42.3	We've been in and out of it on the weekends at Lake Point Church this year, and it is ignited a fresh passion in me, as it has in many other people.
0:50.3	So I thought maybe we could jump in as well with our time here. Now, this will not be an
0:54.2	exhaustive, comprehensive, hit every single verse along the way kind of study, but we are going
0:59.0	to hit some highlights and meet some courageous people and allow the Holy Spirit of God to do
1:03.7	in us what he did in them back then. I can remember hearing about an aging pastor who just
1:09.7	loved the book of Acts, but it got to the point in his life where he can no longer see or read.
1:14.4	So he would just put his hand on Axe and pray, do it again, God, do it again.
1:19.9	And that's what we'll be praying as we walk through this together.
1:23.4	You know, it's pretty staggering that Jesus never traveled outside of a 100-mile radius from
1:27.8	where he was born. Yet his name is spoken and known in every corner of the earth. So how'd that happen?
1:35.2	The Book of Acts is what happened. Now, you can watch an animated overview of the Book of Acts on
1:40.2	the Bible Project site. It's always excellent and very informative, and I'd encourage you to do
1:45.5	that. But just for a quick background, Luke, who is the author, was a physician and a meticulous
1:51.2	historian. And this is the second of a two-part work, the first being the Gospel of Luke, which is all
1:56.6	about Jesus' life, and this one, which was all about what continues through the Holy Spirit
