Devotional. Hey, welcome to the Daily Drive. I have a friend who's pretty new to all of this, who

recently told me that he listens to this podcast twice every day.

He said, on my way to work and on my way home, to keep me from custom and traffic.

It's pretty cool to see how when you start pursuing God on a regular basis, he shows up and begins to change your life.

My name is Bro, and we're here Monday through Friday for about seven or eight minutes.

And I pray every morning for every one of you who listen to this. We're starting to walk

through the book of Acts. It's the fifth book in the New Testament, and everybody in it was new to

this. I mean, God was doing a new thing. He was doing a fresh thing, a revolutionary thing,

through men and women like us who were followers of Jesus Christ. And like I said yesterday,

right before Jesus ascended back to heaven,

he told his followers to wait for the Holy Spirit to come upon them, that his presence would not

only be with them, but it would be in them, empowering them to be courageous and kind and

compassionate and bold, that even though this was going to be brand new and scary for them,

that he would never leave them and would do things in them and through them that they never imagined.
