Bo he asks hey why do hydroponic plants grow faster? Now of course this isn't a

hard and fast rule but it tends to be the case so let's look at why.

Let's go into four reasons. First and most importantly you have an improved ability

for nutrient uptake. So this is the main reason. Imagine you are a

casual high school athlete or weekend warrior type softball player versus being on

the Olympic US women's softball team.

There is a resource differential there.

The Olympic softball team is getting everything they need to perform.

And in a hydroponics situation,

you're doing the same thing with your plant's nutrients.

You, in theory at least, should be giving them

So that is why they grow faster from a nutrient standpoint.

You're going to have limited exposure to pests, diseases, and any sort of weather issues.

These are all things that can slow down the growth of a plant. Imagine you're growing outside and you have cloudy weather for a while, not a lot of sun.
