All right, let's get started.

Today we're looking at hydroponics versus soil.

So if you're like me, you probably started out your gardening hobby by growing in soil.

I think I went down to the local garden center with my brother, grab some pepper seeds,

some charred seeds, and some herb seeds.

Toss them in some pots, watered them every few days, didn't do a whole lot, but

it did well. Over the next few months, I watched them grow, I harvested harvested them and I used them in my cooking and it was just a really cool

introduction to the magic of growing my own food but I was hungry for more a friend of mine had told me about hydroponics and because I was hungry for more. A friend of mine had told me about hydroponics and because I was the kid

in elementary school who spent his summers at science camps, got microscopes and crystal

growing kits for my birthday, it's really not a surprise that I wanted to give hydroponics a try.

So I think that the first thing I did was grow some herbs and I was hooked.

It was very clear to me that growing hydroponically was superior to using soil at least for me and at least for me at that time.

So I'm going to go over seven reasons why if you haven't tried hydroponics you might want to give it a shot.

First, space savings.

Hydroponic saves an incredible amount of space compared to traditional soil gardening.

Usually a plant's roots need space to spread out through the soil.

Not anymore.

Instead, they are submerged in a bath of oxygenated nutrient solution.

Imagine you had everything you needed to eat in a little pill. You didn't
