I'm Dan Kovachievich, joined remotely by Chris Halleck out in Phoenix at the NFL annual meeting.

And I don't know that there was too much that was going on in terms of, you know, hard news or whatever.

The one thing that jumped out at me and it might not have jumped out at everybody was Art Rooney

saying that he expects to have Aaron Rogers decision by the NFL draft.

And there's a, there's all different kinds of ways that you can look at the word expect.

Like expect, well, I anticipate.

I'm imagining that this will occur.

Or I expect to have your answer here, Mr. Twinkle Toes on the beach.

That's what I'm talking about here.

Which way you're there, you're standing there in front of him, Chris.

What is, how did you take it?

I took it as more of the latter than more of the, you know, hey, yeah, this is kind of what we're looking for.

And we prefer to be done.

And no, I really do.

And again, you know, and I can, it's not just the feel of that, but it's also backing it up on what I've reported as well, learning a couple of weeks ago, putting it in one of our Friday insider features that like, listen, it's not a hard deadline.

But the way it was described to me was like, it's not a hard deadline, but the way it was described

to me was like, it's a soft line of demarcation. We want to have it done by then. Then that's one

thing to have sources tell you this stuff on background and everything like that. It's another thing

for the owner to stand in front of reporters and say, yeah, I expect it to have to be done by the

draft. So, um, yeah, I, I definitely it have to be done by the draft. So, yeah, I definitely.
