Getting ready to go to the airport in Phoenix, but I got another hour

so in my hotel.

Didn't know if I'd get a chance to chat for you guys or not.

I figured, hey, we'll knock out 10 minutes or whatever and have a little chat.

Came out today that Mr. Rooney basically said,

let me see, his exact quote was,

I would say by the draft, I expect an answer when discussing when Aaron Rogers will make his decision. Good. Now, I wanted to get into

this a little bit. Like, I would much rather, I think they would much rather know sooner than later,

to know by the draft, of course. But I honestly don't think that if he doesn't make his mind up, that it changes

their plans at the quarterback position at least one bit. I really don't. I mean, I think it's

pretty obvious that they might take one, they might not.

But if Rogers is around, that that's not enough to say we have to take one.

Or now all of a sudden we like Ty Simpson better.

And I would sure hope that's the case because you have grades on these guys and you look at

them in a vacuum, not, you know, we need someone

so bad.

We have to overreact and draft someone that we weren't planning on drafting just because

Rogers hasn't told us yes or no by the draft.

Now, I do think if you're going to have a pretty good working relationship between team

and quarterback,

I think it's fair to ask, hey, we're 23 days away. I'm recording this on April 1st, April Fool's Day, that, hey, can you give us an answer by then? Again, I don't think that's asking
