not least of which is that just now in Calgary Chris Lantang did not practice due to an upper body injury.

He's considered to be day to day. What that means toward his status for the game tomorrow in Calgary against the flames,

and then the game the next day against the Oilers is, of course, uncertain. Generally speaking, if you have an injury and there's back-to-back games, you're not going to miss one.

You're going to miss both.

That would put the Penguins without both Latang and Eric Carlson, obviously, and starting to test things back there.

I was about to say, like, it's one thing if one guy goes down.

It's something else. You don't have another Trevor Daly to step in the way that he stepped in when Letang went down with the injury when they made their cup runs back in the back.
