Two of them have been offensive guys, Nate

Shilhas, the Rams passing game coordinator, and Clay Kubiak, the 49ers OC. The rest are all

NFL defensive coordinators. Igero O'Fero of the Panthers, Jesse Minter of the Chargers, Chris Schula of the Rams,

Anthony Weaver of the Dolphins, and Jeff Halfley of the Packers, although Halfley, last night,

became the Dolphins head coach. Keeping up with all this yet? Okay, hang on.

So there remain, formally speaking, eight candidates.

Now, that's seven virtual interviews, minus Halfley, who now has another job, plus Brian Flores,

who's going to have an in-person interview this week that will be his first interview with the team.

There have been some conflicting reports about that.

This will be his first interview.

The other one is with Mike McCarthy.

His will be in person.
