Mike McCarthy at the NFL annual meeting this week in Phoenix was asked in light of already having D.K. Metcalf and Mike Pitman, two big wide receivers,

what he'd still value the most at that position. I'm going to play for you his entire response.

Position flex, you know, I do prefer the bigger targets.

You know, I think it's common sense.

I mean, you look at completion percentage.

You want your quarterback north of 70%.

You want the ball distributed.

You know, you want 55, you know,

a combination of completions and rushes to be 55 plus a game.

So those are things that I believe in of how you're going to play on offense.

And that's why, you know, tight ends, big tight ends, the target, you know,

it's easier to throw these passes than the ones out there.

So those are common sense practices that I keep in touch with him.
