Pirates with a five to four victory in their home opener over the Baltimore Orioles.

Moved a four and three on the season.

Of course, Connor Griffin makes his major league debut and does it in style.

Got of course the RBI double in that big four run inning, set the tone.

That's exactly what we want to see from the top prospect in all of baseball.

So a really strong performance by the Pirates here today.

The offense was there.

Obviously, that big four run inning being able to set the tone made it a little

a little interesting there in the ninth inning with Gregory Soda giving up that home run to Gunner Henderson.

But the pitching was solid, six strong innings once again for Mitch Keller, gives up two runs.

I had to battle his way through it. Did walk four, four struck out four but a good win for the pirates

here in their home opener is now won three straight after winning two in Cincinnati and now

they'll look to continue that on here the rest of this series against the Orioles and then go

into the rest of the homestand against a san diegores. So I'll be here to take your questions in the comments.

I know that there was a lot of excitement with this home opener,

really kind of the complete opposite of last year.

Last year, you know, fans voicing their displeasure and rightfully so.

And, you know, the players, coaches, they knew that too.

You know, the fans had a reason to be disappointed last year. And this year, it seems like it's,

it's a complete opposite. There was a lot of excitement for this home opener, a lot of excitement
